Team Associated’s Pro-4 Drivers Sweep the LOORRS Podium!

Congratulations to Team Associated’s very own Kyle LeDuc for winning Pro-4 in rounds 11 and 12 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series! Hard-charging Carl Renezeder did well this weekend too, coming in second to Kyle both days as well. Sunday’s round 12 was especially great as the podium was loaded with Team Associated drivers, with Kyle’s brother Todd taking third place. All in all, it was another great weekend of short-course racing action at the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series! The LOORRS heads to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on November 5-6 for rounds 13 and 14. All the championship points are still up for grabs, which means there will be some fast and intense races as the season winds down and we look to crown the champions. Venom Factory Pilot Jesse Munn Wins 2011 Northwest Championship Tour

Venom Team Driver Jesse Munn kept up his consistent showings to take the overall points win for the Northwest Championship Tour 2011. The final race, “The Columbia Cup,” was held this last weekend in Pasco, Washington and brought out the normal high-level NCT competitors, as well as well-known Kyosho Team Driver, Shawn Dunlap. Munn held off the local drivers and battled closely with Dunlap during the three-day event. Dunlap took the weekends TQ and overall win, but Munn’s strong performance was enough to clinch the overall series title for Mod SC Truck running his Venom Gambler. Munn also took the championship in Mod 2WD Buggy for the third consecutive year. TQ Wins ROAR Reg. 5 event

TQ Racing driver Mike Champrenault won the Modified Short Course class at the ROAR Region 5 Championships at The Proving Grounds. Mike qualified a close 3rd behind two factory Kyosho drivers after an intense qualifying session that had the field tightly bunched for the A Main. During the main, the top three checked out on the field and stayed in close contact with one another the event. In the closing laps Mike’s TQ SC slipped into the lead and help off the others to win by just one truck length (officially .15 of a second). Mike described is TQ Truck as “simply phenomenal” throughout the whole event. Even while developing a new Short Course platform, TQ Racing is proud of Mike and other team drivers still working hard with the old platform and getting the results to show just how competitive the organization be can in engineering quality, fast race vehicles.
